Terms and Conditions

1. TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT

By visiting Killer Queen, making a booking or purchasing a service or product from our site, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

2. PRICES

All service prices listed on Killer Queen website are inclusive of GST and subject to change without notice. Rates will be charged in accordance with advertised rates at time of booking.

If you have already paid a booking fee then you retain the rates invoiced at the time of booking for the respective booking.

3.BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS

Bookings are subject to availability; please contact us to confirm availability.

To secure your booking a non-refundable booking fee of 50% is required, which is deducted from the total cost of the booking and is not refundable or transferable. Your booking isn’t secured until your booking fee has been paid. This can be done via direct deposit, or by Stripe.

The remainder of the service must be paid one week in advance of the service date or the client risks the appointment being unattended. We do not hold any hair or makeup bookings that have not paid their security deposit.

Cancellations for appointments are to be made 72 hours prior to booking. If you do not show or cancel within the 72-hour timeframe your booking fee and any balance payments will be forfeited.

If you cancel or reschedule prior to 72 hours before your appointment, your booking fee is transferrable to another appointment time.

We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for any appointments that you cannot attend due to vaccination mandates or other business’ covid-policies. These policies and situations are outside of our control and we cannot compensate for appointments that are forfeited due to you not being able to attend. We will happily move your appointment to a new date or give you a credit note to use at a future time.

If your appointment is impacted due to a Government-imposed lockdown or restrictions on our service, your appointment will be rescheduled and your booking fee will be transferred to your new date within 12 months of the original booking.

If your appointment is to be rescheduled due to you awaiting covid-testing results, being ill, having been at a covid-hotspot, or being asked to quarantine, your appointment will be rescheduled and your booking fee will be transferred to your new date within 12 months of the original booking. Please contact us asap if this is the case.

4. BRIDAL

To secure your booking a non-refundable booking fee of 30% is required. Your booking isn’t secured until your booking fee has been paid. This can be done via direct deposit, or by Stripe.

The booking fee amount is based on the size/requirements of the booking and will not be refundable or transferrable. The remainder of the service must be paid in full one week ahead of the booking date or the client risks the appointment being unattended.

Once the booking has been made & the deposit is taken, any cancellation or changes to the size of the bridal party will incur additional charges. 

Please confirm your numbers carefully at the time of your booking, as we don’t offer any reductions for hair and makeup services. Should someone in your wedding/group booking cancel at any time they are welcome to be replaced with someone else, e.g. a guest or relative.

We do not accept last-minute changes to services or major changes to the schedule within 14 days of the event. 

If the booking is downsized, you will be charged the original price quoted to cover the loss of other work on the same date.

If your wedding is cancelled due to a Government-imposed lockdown or restrictions on our service, your booking fee will be transferred to your new date within 12 months of the original booking, provided we have been consulted on a new date (please see below)

5. COVID-19 RESCHEDULES

We understand that in these unprecedented times rescheduling is out of our clients' control. Therefore, we are compassionately shifting deposits across to your new date with no change fees.

Due to having two bridal seasons combining, we may not be unable to fully cater to exact original logistics, however we will try our best to endeavour to do so. If you decide to postpone, we’d ideally like as much notice as possible to try and book your old date, 4 weeks would be ideal.

Should your wedding or photoshoot be rescheduled to beyond 6 months into the future, please note your original quote may be subject to change due to us revisiting pricing each year.

Should your wedding or photoshoot be rescheduled to beyond 12 months into the future, or you have already rescheduled your date once before, a new Booking Fee will apply, equal to 30% of your total invoice, as well as any increases in my service prices.

If you decide to postpone indefinitely, I can hold your booking fee on credit and roll it over once you decide on a new date. Please note your original quote may be subject to change due to us revisiting pricing each year.

Should your wedding day or photoshoot be rescheduled to a date without consultation with Killer Queen, and Danee is not available on your new date, your booking fee and any paid fees will be forfeited. Please ensure before rescheduling or rebooking, you consult with Killer Queen to ensure availability to avoid this.

If you cancel altogether, you will lose the booking fee and any fees that have been paid. 

We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for any appointments that you cannot attend due to vaccination mandates or other business’ covid-policies. If you are able to give your suppliers a few new date options, including weekdays,  then it will be a lot easier for you to find a new date that works for everyone (most vendors will be booked out for Saturdays now for at least a year).

We do please ask our clients to show us some compassion in return as this pandemic has hugely impacted us as we try our best to cater for a number of reschedules.

6. SERVICE & STUDIO HOURS

Our usual service hours are Wed-Sat by appointment 7:00am – 7:00pm and very limited Sundays.

Any service bookings that require us to start outside of these hours may be subject to a once only fee of $100. Special considerations may be made for commercial or very large bookings and are decided at the discretion of Killer Queen on a case-by-case basis.

6. ONLINE STORE

All products have been described with the best endeavours to provide accurate information including details, descriptions and images.

7. PRICES

All prices are exclusive of any delivery costs.

8. PAYMENT METHODS

All payments are independently processed through third-party services (Stripe). Therefore, Killer Queen does not collect any payment information – such as credit card details – but only receives a notification once the payment has been successfully completed. If payment through the available methods fail or is refused by the payment service provider, Killer Queen shall be under no obligation to fulfil the purchase order. Any possible costs or fees resulting from the failed or refused payment shall be borne by the user.

9. CURRENCY

All payments are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Any possible costs or fees resulting from conversion of currency at time of payment shall be borne by the user. Killer Queen is not obliged to offer multi-currency services or to offer alternate payment methods.

10. DELIVERY

Delivery is only available within Australia and NZ as at September 2020.

Killer Queen will ensure received orders will be packed and sent within 48 hours of order receipt, with the exception of weekends and public holidays. Any orders received within these timeframes will be processed the ensuing Tuesday. Killer Queen bears no responsibility for delay of delivery once processed and submitted to Australia Post.

11. ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS

Upon receipt, goods must be inspected and notify Killer Queen via our contact form of any issues within 24 hours. If no contact has been made within this period, it will be deemed that the goods have been accepted as per arrived condition.

12. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Killer Queen do not offer returns or exchanges on any items due to change-of-mind.

If products are deemed to be faulty, damaged or defective you are permitted to submit a request for return. Upon inspection, if agreed, we will replace for a non-defective item or full refund of product price.

13. GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

14. ACCURACY

This site may contain certain historical information. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes or updates to our site. Prices for our services and products are subject to change without notice.

15. USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK AND OTHER SUBMISSIONS

If you send certain specific submissions such as reviews, feedback, creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise, you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation to maintain any comments in confidence; to pay compensation for any comments; or to respond to any comments.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.

17. CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

Killer Queen reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.

Your continued use of or access to our website or the Terms of Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
