Pearl accents

Pearls were a HUGE fashion and accessory trend in 2020, and for brides they’re so pretty, unexpected and cool.

We’re LOVING pearl accents on the face- think a soft smattering of tiny pearls around the eye area for a look that screams unique and utterly, gorgeous.

And pearl accents scattered throughout a soft waved hairstyle are just incredible- look out for pearls on hair accessories as well.

Bonkers for OTT blush

Blush is making a huge comeback and a soft, glowing blush look will make you look eternally youthful, fresh and sun-kissed. We love extra blush for brides who like a low-key, natural style and don’t want too much colour anywhere else.

This is a look where more is more- we want that noticeable flush of colour that’s a little more than expected, but still soft and blended (not 80s-style striped blush)

OTT blush on the cheeks is really pretty and lends itself really well to freckles if you want a simple, natural but GORGEOUS look.

Red lips, ftw

Red lips have been in style FOREVER, and we’re starting to see a lot more brides embrace a bolder, brighter look for their big day!

A lot of brides we know just don’t really dig nude lips and prefer a pop of colour to suit their bold personality and unique style.

We adore a bold red lip for a look that says badass bride! Paired with fresh glowing skin, brushed-up brows, and simple, shimmering eyes with LOTS of lashes, this is a beauty look that will ensure all eyes are on you.

Brushed up brows

Brushed up brows have had a huge moment over the last few years - we’re seeing soap brows EVERYWHERE and brow lamination is one of the fastest-growing beauty services. Brides are craving a more natural, unstructured brow with a swept up look that opens up the eye area and looks natural.

It looks amazing with a soft winged eye and fresh, glowing skin- and is a great way to show off your brows if you were naturally blessed!

Freckles out!

Frecks (as we affectionately call them) are absolutely huge in the beauty world and have been for some time. They’ve had a revolution and we’re here for it!

We’re starting to see a lot more brides embrace their natural freckles rather than covering them up under a full coverage foundation (largely owing to Meghan Markle’s fresh-faced wedding beauty look).

Base makeup is becoming a little more sheer to let them peep through, rather than having an airbrushed finish to cover over everything. We love it!

For those who weren’t born with natural freckles, we’re seeing a lot of requests to add them, which is a great way to embrace the freckle look and look totally darned cute and cool girl at the same time. Give them a try at your bridal trial, and you may just like it for your big day.
